MISSION STATEMENT
Engaging the imaginations of parents, children, and educators through the documentation of local artists, environmentalists, and the giving spirit.
At the heart of The Radius Project, or the axis, are the hopes, dreams, and achievements that inspire the rich possibilities of a neighborhood.
Our goals strive to create a comprehensive resource that sparks curiosity about people who might be imaginative within a one-mile radius.
Our post-film Q&A stimulates constructive conversations with local people at libraries, community centers, and schools. We help audiences rediscover their neighborhoods from the perspectives of local visionaries and their accomplishments.
The Radius Project is an initiative of The Artist Archive, a 501(c)3 organization sponsored by the New York Foundation for the Arts. We involve student filmmakers in our productions.
