The Radius Project invites neighbors to view a short film about local artists and their educational impact. After the film, we conduct a Q&A about the long-term benefits of the arts on education, experiential, emotional, and critical thinking. We are most interested in art’s impact on the well-being of a community.
Art education offers broad benefits, boosting academic performance, critical thinking, and creativity, while also developing crucial social-emotional skills like empathy, self-regulation, and resilience, making students better problem-solvers and more engaged learners across all subjects and life situations.
